Boutique treasure in the foothills near Apple Hill in Camino. What the owners of the newly reimagined Extraordinary Camino Hotel have created is a space of luxuriant relaxation just over the hill from Boa Vista Orchards in Camino. What was once a home to the lumberjacks of the Michigan-California Lumber company is now a sophisticated retreat where you can take a deep breath and enjoy the surrounding pines and redwoods and themed guest rooms. It was an unexpected pleasure to stay in this very special place for a few nights, and ended up extending my stay. They are also just across the road from the Forester Pub and Grill with great dining options.
